The safety and well-being of our patients, staff, providers, and community members is our highest priority. Monterey Spine & Joint is continually monitoring the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state and local health department for the most up-to-date guidelines and recommendations in response to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Office Policies
Face coverings will be mandatory for all providers, staff, and patients.

Patients and guests will be asked to bring their own masks.

MSJ will provide a disposable mask for any patient who does not have one, although supplies are limited and therefore we kindly ask that patients and guests bring a face covering with them to their appointments.

Patients, staff and guests will be screened upon arriving at the facility.

Screening will consist of reviewing the COVID-19 screening questions as well as a temperature check.

Social distancing will be maintained, except when necessary for clinical care.

Our patient lobby has been marked with appropriate social distancing guidelines for both patient check-in and seating.

Patients are encouraged after check-in to wait outside or in their vehicles and will be notified via text message when they are ready to be called back for their appointments.

We are asking to limit patient companions to one essential adult companion only (“essential” meaning the patient needs a caregiver or help understanding), and we will ask all others to wait in their vehicles.

Please do not bring children to your appointment. The only exception is if the patient is a child.

MSJ is offering appointments via telemedicine and highly encourages high-risk patients to utilize telemedicine appointments as opposed to in-office visits.
